God Creates the World
Before sin, before shame, before anything — there was God. And God spoke, and everything was made. Six days of creation, a seventh day of rest, and one word said over and over: good.
Sin and Shame Enter the World
The serpent lies. Eve believes it. Adam follows. The moment sin enters the world — and the first thing it brings is shame. This is where everything starts.
The Results of Sin and Shame
God comes walking. Adam hides. The blame starts flying. But before sending them out, God does something no one expected — he covers them himself.
Sin and Shame Fill the Earth
Sin spread to every person — not just actions, but thoughts. God's heart broke. But one man still found favor in God's eyes. His name was Noah.
God Warns Noah
God tells Noah to build a massive boat — no rain in sight. Noah is 75 years old. He obeys exactly. This is what faith looks like before the storm arrives.
Noah Obeys God
God gives the all-clear. Noah and his family enter. The animals come two by two. Then God himself shuts the door. This is what it looks like when someone completely trusts.
God Saves Noah
The flood comes. Everything outside the ark dies. One hundred fifty days pass. Then God remembers Noah — and the water starts going down. God never forgets his people.
God Speaks to Abraham
God tells Abraham to leave everything — no map, no destination. Abraham is 75 years old. He goes. Through Abraham, God promises to bless every family on earth.
Abraham and the Sacrificial Lamb
God asks Abraham to sacrifice his only son. Abraham goes. Isaac asks: where is the lamb? Abraham answers: God will provide. And at the last moment — he does.
The Israelites' Escape from Egypt
Abraham's family has become a nation — now enslaved for 400 years. God raises up Moses. He sends ten plagues. He splits the Red Sea. His people walk through on dry ground.
Moses and the Passover Lamb
A perfect lamb. Blood on the door. Death passes over. The people inside are not saved by who they are — they are saved by the blood. This is the most important detail in the whole story.
The Ten Commandments
The Israelites are free. God calls Moses up the mountain and gives ten commandments. Not rules to earn God's love — rules for people who already belong to him.
David is Made King
All Israel gathers before David. They call him their shepherd. God had said it would be so. He is anointed king — a man after God's own heart.
The Promise of David's Descendant
David wants to build a house for God. God says no — I will build a house for you. And what he promises next is one of the most important prophecies in the whole Bible.
The Rule of David's Descendant
Hundreds of years after David, Isaiah describes the coming king in four names: Wonderful Counselor. Mighty God. Everlasting Father. Prince of Peace. Every word matters.
Angel Gabriel Appears to Mary
Hundreds of years of waiting. Then God sends Gabriel — not to a king or a priest, but to a young woman in a small town. Her name is Mary. She says yes.
The Birth of Jesus
Everything we have learned has been pointing to this night. A baby in a manger. God sends his announcement not to kings — to shepherds in a field. Glory to God in the highest.
Jesus Dies on the Cross
The soldiers lead Jesus to the hill. Two criminals hang beside him. The sky goes dark. And Jesus forgives the people who are killing him. This is what love looks like.
Jesus' Resurrection and Ascension
Jesus is crucified. Three days later the tomb is empty. The disciples see him. He gives them one command. He ascends. The Spirit comes. Three thousand believe in one day.
The Second Coming and Final Judgment
The whole Bible ends here. Jesus returns as King of kings. Death is gone. God comes to live with his people. Everything is made new. The story that started in the garden — ends in a city.
